We actually got some of the literature from one of these companies and gave it a try on my laptop the other night. It only took a couple of minutes, and they had a cash offer almost right away after we sent it. All of that was great, except that the offer was $50,000 or $60,000 short of what we could sell it for.
That was a little disturbing, honestly. Our goal as real estate agents is to get you the most for your home. These companies are not interested in representing you; they just want to make a profit. I can understand wanting to run a good business, but when it comes to that much money, I’d rather put it in your pocket than someone else’s.
